Lunchtime race open to runners of all ages and abilities
February 19, 2026 Runners of all ages and abilities are invited to take part in the next Ealing Mile, which returns to Lammas Park on Friday 6 March for its regular lunchtime race. The one-mile event, held on the first Friday of each month, starts at 12.30pm and offers a fast, friendly and traffic-free course around one of Ealing’s best-loved green spaces. Participants are welcome to run, jog or walk the route, and the event is open to anyone aged four and above. Organisers say the Ealing Mile has built a strong community following, attracting everyone from club runners chasing personal bests to local residents looking for a sociable lunchtime activity. Lammas Park is also the start and finish point of the Ealing Half Marathon, giving the event a familiar backdrop for many local runners. The course follows the park’s distance markers and has been officially measured. The race is licensed by UK Athletics, meaning times are formally recorded and appear on Power of 10 and Run Britain Rankings. Entry must be completed online in advance, as there are no on-the-day registrations.
