10 places on offer to local businesses wishing to support CAPE
January 15, 2026 A local mental-health charity is inviting Ealing businesses to take part in this year’s Ealing Half Marathon by signing up for one of its charity places and raising funds to support adults living with severe and enduring mental-health needs. CAPE (Community Activities Project Ealing) has partnered with the Ealing Half Marathon 2026, which takes place at 9am on Sunday 27 September in Walpole Park. The charity has 10 places available and is encouraging local companies to enter individual runners or form a full “Team CAPE”. The charity provides one-to-one psychological support, group therapy and wellbeing sessions for adults across the borough, helping people build stability, confidence and community connections. CAPE says joining its marathon team offers businesses a ready-made wellbeing and team-building activity, while also strengthening their corporate social-responsibility commitments. Businesses that take part will receive a structured challenge staff can train for together, opportunities for internal and external communications, including photos and fundraising updates and a visible way to demonstrate support for local mental-health services CAPE covers the race-entry fee for all its runners. In return, participants commit to a minimum fundraising target, with the charity providing materials, ideas and encouragement. Money raised will go directly towards frontline mental-health support in Ealing. CAPE says:
The charity will also publicly thank participating businesses on its website and social-media channels, sharing team photos and progress updates. Anyone wishing to run for CAPE can contact the charity directly to claim one of its 10 charity places. General race registration is available via the official Ealing Half Marathon website. The 2026 race is West London’s biggest running event and has been voted the UK’s best half marathon three years in a row. It is fully road-closed and attracts thousands of runners and spectators each year. CAPE encourages supporters to share this opportunity with other local organisations.
