Detectives investigating a sexual assault on board an Elizabeth Line train have released a CCTV image of a person they wish to identify.

The incident took place at around 7.30pm on Sunday 19 April when a man boarded an Elizabeth Line service at Tottenham Court Road station.

According to investigators, the man sexually assaulted a woman after the train arrived at Bond Street station, allegedly attempting to conceal his actions within the crowd of passengers.

The suspect later left the train at Ealing Broadway station.

British Transport Police (BTP) have now issued a CCTV image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Anyone who recognises the man, or who has information about the incident, is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference number 115 of 20 April.

Information can also be provided anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

British Transport Police regularly investigate offences across the rail network and urge passengers to report any incidents of unwanted sexual behaviour. Reports can also be made discreetly by texting 61016.
