Peri-peri restaurant had been closed for six weeks
August 8, 2024 Nando’s on Bond Street in Ealing has reopened, following a six-week refurbishment. The peri-peri restaurant reopens with a fresh new look and some new kit. including but not limited to. a bottomless Rubro Iced Tea machine to complement the existing bottomless soft drink range. Nando’s Bond Street - Ealing continues its No Chuckin’ Our Chicken food donation programme, which operates in every Nando’s restaurant across UK and Ireland with daily donations to local charities, community groups, food banks and soup kitchens. The Ealing restaurant teams up with the City Harvest to redistribute left over food at the end of every day and has donates nearly 5000 meals a year to the charity. Roberto Goncalves Valenzuela, General Manager of Nando’s Bond Street - Ealing, said, “I’m so excited to be reopening our doors and welcoming fans, old and new, into our new restaurant. It looks amazing! With a fresh new look and state of the art equipment, we are ready to get grilling for everyone again, and to also continue all our community work. No Chuckin’ Our Chicken food donation programme is so important to us and I know that we are going to smash our donation records this year!” The Ealing branch of Nando's has played a significant role in the expansion of the chain being one of the first to open in the UK in 1994. The first ever Nando's in this country was nearby in Ealing Common opening in 1992.
