Gordon Ramsay Closes His Ealing Broadway Café |

Bread Street venue had been open for just two years
August 29, 2023 The Bread Street Café at the Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre has closed almost exactly two years after it first opened. The Gordon Ramsay venture, which was meant to be a more informal take on the original Bread Street Kitchen restaurant in the City with all day dining, was close to the Ealing Project. The 3,300 sq ft premises, formerly occupied by Limeyard, had 70 covers plus additional tables in an upstairs terrace as well as space for 15 outside at the front. Overall, it had a mixed reception from local diners since its opening becoming an established hangout for some but others considering it was over-priced. Recently, a number of people had commented on the number of empty tables when they visited which had detracted from the atmosphere. The Castano Lounge, which opened nearby at the same time, seems to have managed to cope better with the difficult trading conditions currently. The closure, which was made without any announcement, hasn’t been mentioned on any of the Gordon Ramsay Restaurant company social media channels and it is not responding to requests for comment.
