A homeless man has appeared in court accused of raping a teenager who'd been waiting for the E2 bus.

David Simapuka, 43, was charged with two counts of rape, false imprisonment, actual bodily harm and threats to kill, at Feltham Magistrates' Court.

The 17-year-old was attacked near St Faith's Church, in Windmill Road, Brentford as she waited for an E2 bus at about 1am on May 25th, Bank Holiday Monday.

Simapuka was remanded in custody and will appear at Isleworth Crown Court at a date to be fixed.
