Another Murder Investigation in Perivale
Second in a week on Buckingham Avenue
Detectives have launched another murder investigation after a man was found stabbed to death at a house on Buckingham avenue in Perivale.
Officers were called at approximately 2pm on Thursday, 9 September and found the body of 67-year-old man Michael Zubrot.
A post mortem examination took place today (Saturday, 11 September) at Uxbridge Mortuary and gave cause of death as stab injuries.
An incident room has been opened under Detective Chief Inspector Amanda Hargreaves of the Homicide and Serious Crime Command based at Sutton.
Mohammed Khaleel, 37, appeared at the Old Bailey on Wednesday accused of killing Michael Zubrot to death.
Khaleel, from Ealing, was remanded in custody. He is due to appear for a hearing on December 20.
It's the second murder inquiry in a week on Buckingham Avenue and the third in the last month in Perivale.
The body of Ghada Habib was found in her house on Monday, a man has been charged in connection with this and another man has been charged after a woman died from injuries suffered in a house fire at the end of July in Haymill Close.
