A murder investigation has begun after a 38—year-old woman was found dead in a house in Northolt this Thursday (17 February).

Police were called to an address in Shadwell Drive at 10.52am by paramedics after the woman was found unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 52-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody.

A spokesperson for the police said, "Police were called by London Ambulance Service [LAS] at 10:52am on Thursday, February 17 to reports of an unresponsive woman at a residential address in Shadwell Drive, Northolt. Officers and LAS attended. A 38-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

"Next of kin are yet to be informed. A post-mortem examination will take place shortly. The Homicide Assessment Team has been notified.

"A 52-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of murder. They were taken to a west London police station where they remain at this time.”
