The police have launched an appeal for information into a theft of valuable coins in Northolt.

Two white men dressed in dark trousers and high visibility jackets entered a residential property on Arliss Way, Northolt at around 1.30pm on 17 August saying they need to check a water meter.

Once inside the collector’s house they stole fifty-four coins worth over £10,000.

The coins are from various mints including; Jubilee, Danbury, London and Windsor.

Police are asking for information from member of the public who may have been in the area at the time and noticed anything suspicious or anyone who has had contact with someone attempting to sell a large quantity of collectable coins.
