A 27-year-old man from Northolt has been charged by detectives investigating a sexual assault on a teenage boy.

Zakaria Mohammed of Arnold Road was charged on Tuesday, 12 October with one count of false imprisonment, one count of sexual assault and one count of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on Tuesday, 9 November.

The charge follows an allegation of sexual assault involving the boy that was reported to have occurred on board a Route 282 bus on Thursday, 12 August.

The victim the bus near the White Hart Roundabout in Northolt just after 4pm. A man engaged the victim in conversation at the bus stop and sat next to him on the upper deck of the bus. On the journey towards Ealing Hospital, the man allegedly made remarks of a sexual nature and touched the victim inappropriately.
