Two people have been attacked and injured during a burglary in Ealing.

It happened on Monday 15th June at a private address on Western Road in W5.

After answering the door at around 8pm, a 56 year old man was grabbed by an attacker who pulled a knife and demanded money. Police say he insisted on calling the victim “Leroy”.

Shortly after, a second man entered and the two tied up both victims and placed tape over their mouths.

As a result of a struggle, the 56 year old was bruised and cut on the face, the woman received a stomach injury and was taken to Ealing Hospital for treatment.

The suspects made off with two gold necklaces and a silver Omega watch, the estimated value of the items believed to be in a region of £1400.

They have been described as black, in their forties, both athletic build. One was speaking in English accent, while the other one - in West Indian accent.

The first man was wearing a beige / light Ralph Lauren jacket,

blue jeans, trainers and white NIKE rucksack. He is also described as having a mid complexion.
The second was wearing a blue jacket, blue T-shirt and black trainers with dark complexion.

Both men were seen on Windsor Road getting into a black Renault Megane, the letters VUE are believed to be a part of the vehicle registration number.
