An appeal has been issued for witnesses and dashcam footage after a woman was hit by a car in Northolt which then failed to stop.

The collision occurred at 1.40pm on Sunday, 20 June at Keble Close, Northolt.

The pedestrian, who is in her twenties, sustained head injuries and required hospital treatment.

The car is described as a dark small hatchback, make and model unknown, which then headed off in the direction of Whitton Road East.

PC Mark Pereira, the investigating officer said, “I am appealing for witnesses to this road traffic collision, where the driver failed to stop.

“If you do have CCTV or dashcam footage which captured the incident or would assist identify the vehicle and the driver, please contact us”

Any witnesses who are yet to speak with police are asked to call police on 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting our reference CAD 725/20JUN.
