A man remains in hospital in a critical condition after being involved in a collision with a lorry in Northolt earlier this month. His female co-worker was also seriously injured.

The police are now appealing for witnesses to the crash that took place on West End Road on Monday, 14 September shortly before 12:23pm. The car in which the pair were travelling was hit by a lorry.

The 63-year-old driver of the car received serious head injuries and was taken by air ambulance to hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition.

A 56-year-old women, who was a passenger in the car, suffered pelvis and leg injuries. She was also taken to hospital where her injuries are serious but not life-threatening.

The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene. He was not arrested.
