Latest homes being sold in the Ealing area
The latest data released by the Land Registry suggests that activity has started to pick up in the local property market.
Far more properties changed hands in the Ealing area during April than has been seen for several months.
Prices remain difficult to judge because of the still historically low level of volume - the average price in W5 during the month was £419,962 just below the level seen in the first quarter. For W13 the average price was £366,696.
For London has a whole the average property price for May was £296,938 down by 0.1% on the previous month and 15.6% over the year. This was the thirteenth month in a row that prices have fallen.
