Latest homes being sold in the Ealing area
The latest data released by the Land Registry suggests that activity has started to pick up in the local property market.
Far more properties changed hands in the Ealing area during April than has been seen for several months.
Prices remain difficult to judge because of the low level of volume - the average price in W5 during the month was £379,118 and for W13 it was £307,824.
For the first time for a few years a property in W5 changed hands for under £100,000, a flat in Connell Crescent.
For London as a whole the Land Registry index shows the average price for April at £297,155 down 0.2% on the previous month and down by 15.7% on the year. Prices have fallen for the last twelve months.
