Trojan Barbie explores trauma experienced by women through centuries of war
March 6, 2025 The Questors Theatre in Ealing is to stage a production of Trojan Barbie a play by Christine Evans inspired by Euripides' Trojan Women. The work collides classical Greek characters and plot with the misadventures of a lost tourist. Through this juxtaposition, it aims to exposes the trauma and trials women have faced since war first raged thousands of years ago. The winner of the Playwrights First "Plays for the 21st Century" Award it is running from 21-29 March. Performances are at 7:30pm except for Sunday 23 March when it takes place at 2:30pm and there is no show on Monday 24 March. Tickets cost £16, £13 for concessions or £12 for students.
