Firm will be offering support for overall prize winner's next project
July 24, 2025 The organisers of Ealing Film Festival 2025 have confirmed a new partnership with London-based company Halo Post Production. The announcement follows Halo's decision to sponsor this year's festival and provide post-production support to the overall winner. As part of the prize package, the winning filmmaker will receive assistance from Halo's team of sound mixers, colourists and online editors in preparing their next short film. The professional services involved are likely to be worth a significant amount and the cost would normally be out of the reach of most smaller film makers. The festival organisers observed that the collaboration with Halo reflects a shared interest in supporting creativity and expanding opportunities for filmmakers Halo’s Commercial Director, Will Garbutt, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration. He said, “We are delighted to partner with this year’s Ealing Film Festival. In a rapidly changing world where opportunities in the field of film-making are hard to come by, we are proud to do our bit for the festival in championing and supporting emerging talent from all walks of life. I am looking forward to meeting the film makers and enjoying some of their latest work.” The Ealing Film Festival was launched in 2020 and showcases a wide range of storytelling styles and perspectives. It takes inspiration from Ealing’s historic ties to British cinema and aims to support both new and experienced filmmakers. The 2025 festival will take place from 2 to 4 October, with screenings planned at local venues. Additional announcements, programming details, and ticket information are expected in the coming weeks.
