Ealing Dance Students Gain Places at Top Ballet Company |

Pupil at SA Dance set to appear in West End production Two members of an Ealing dance school have secured places in London’s prestigious London Children’s Ballet Company. Theana Amolo and Clara Nerezzi are long term students at SA Dance. Theana has been offered a place and will be performing at the production of The Anne of Green Gables staged between 26 and 29 May at The Peacock Theatre in London’s West End and Clara Narezzi has been offered a place in their tour company. Both girls have trained with SA Dance in Ealing since they were toddlers. The schools says that their dedication to dance has been displayed through beautiful artistry on stage, with a love expressed of being in character and an ability to tell a story. SA Dance, which stands for Stage Art Dance, was established in 2008 in Ealing. The Associates programme at SA Dance is led by Aretha Marques and Roberta Marquez, principal from The Royal Ballet Aretha Marques said she was mesmerized by the talent of the company and the clever choreography and music score while watching them rehearse. The Royal Ballet’s website states, ‘The School offers an eight-year carefully structured dance course alongside an extensive academic, pastoral and healthcare programme, ensuring students are fully-equipped to flourish in their future careers, both within and beyond the world of classical ballet.’
