Police in Ealing Broadway have made a significant arrest after neighbourhood officers stopped a man acting suspiciously in Haven Place, the alleyway running between Morrisons and The Broadway coming out opposite Ealing Broadway station. Haarts and RSK estate agents are either side of the entrance along with The Red Room Club. The incident took place on Monday 20 April, when Safer Neighbourhood Team officers noticed the man’s behaviour and carried out a search.

Officers recovered a substantial quantity of illegal drugs, several mobile phones, a knife and counterfeit banknotes. The man was arrested at the scene and taken into custody. Police say the mobile devices will now be examined to establish whether the suspect has links to organised drug‑dealing networks operating in the area.

PCSO Timothy Tuft, from the Ealing Broadway Safer Neighbourhood Team, said the arrest was the result of proactive patrols targeting locations known for drug‑related activity. He added that information from residents continues to play an important role in helping officers identify suspicious behaviour and intervene early.

Police are encouraging anyone who notices unusual activity in alleyways, car parks or near transport hubs to report it, stressing that even small pieces of information can help build a clearer picture of criminal networks operating locally.

The investigation into the Haven Place arrest is ongoing.
