The latest property sales in Ealing
Detailed figures recently released by the Land Registry have shown that the average price of an Ealing home has moved slightly higher during February despite uncertainty in global financial markets.
The average price for the month in W5 was £434,010 compared to £429,470 in the previous month. This is well down from the peak of over £500,000 seen toward the end of 2007. It should be stressed that volumes do appear to be well down during the month so the monthly average may be less representative of the true picture than when the market is more active. Agents are already feeling the pinch due to reduced commissions with Lauristons giving up on their Ealing branch.
In the West Ealing (W13) area the average price saw a fall to £351,963 compared to £418,596 in the previous month when the sale of some high priced homes boosted the overall average.
