The latest production at The Questors is The God of Carnage. Winner of the 2009 Tony Award for Best Play and written by internationally renowned playwright Yasmina Reza (Art), this comedy comes to Ealing for a just 4 performances between 12 – 14 August in the Judi Dench Playhouse.

When the well-to-do parents of two children meet to discuss a violent playground incident, they agree to talk civilly about the matter. But as the drinks pour, polite discussion gradually degenerates into havoc. In a desperate attempt to defend their children, tribalism takes full force, spiralling to a crescendo of chaos.

The Questors Festival of New Theatre is taking place next year and a call out is being made for the submission of plays.

Next summer (2022) The Questors Theatre will be opening its doors and welcoming new voices and plays to the stage, as part of its inaugural festival of new theatre. The festival will provide a platform for new writers to share new work, collaborate with other creatives and become part of a thriving theatre community.

It is currently looking for one act plays (approx. 60-70 min in length) to showcase at the festival, with a particular interest in pieces that feature a strong gender, age and diversity balance. The Questors says it has a limited number of slots at the festival so for your best chance of inclusion submit your script as soon as possible. The deadline to submit is 17 December 2021.

You can also still listen for free to The Spot of Joy by Hilary Spiers an audio play inspired by Robert Browning's poem My Last Duchess.
