Dr Graham Jones to give talk hosted by The Arts Society Ealing
The UK holds some of the biggest ceremonial events in the world and, arguably, the best in the world but why is that? How does the military prepare for major events such as State Opening of Parliament, State Visits, National Day of Remembrance, Royal Weddings or even a State Funeral? Find out at a lecture by Dr Graham Jones hosted by The Arts Society Ealing. Dr Jones started his professional life as a musician in the British Army and after a career spanning nearly forty years he retired as the Senior Director of Music, Household Division and Director of Music, Coldstream Guards. During his career he has recorded over 40 albums and been responsible for commissioning over 30 new works. Graham has a second career as a guest conductor, adjudicator, lecturer, recording consultant and educator. This talk is at 7:30pm on Monday 22 November at St Barnabas Church Hall, Pitshanger Lane, Ealing W5 1QG. Visitors are welcome to attend at £8 per lecture. This fee is reduced to £3 for students and members of other affiliated Arts Societies. For more information, contact: spsecretarytase@gmail.com
