Tributes have been paid following the death of a young mother in Hanwell last week.

Police and emergency services were called to the Uxbridge Road next to L'oro Di Napoli restaurant on Thursday (19 July) after reports that a woman had been seriously injured.

Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, the woman, named as Lilia Djairine was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:50pm. A post mortem later gave the cause as 'death by hanging.'

The death has shocked the community as Lilia, the 24-year-old daughter of L'oro Di Napoli restaurant owners was known by many in the area.
