Detectives are appealing for help in identifying a man they wish to speak to regarding a sexual assault on bus in Ealing.

On Friday, 9 September at around 7.50pm the victim, a woman in her late teens, boarded a route E10 bus at Haven Green bus stop.

The victim sat in the far left corner at the back of the bus, a man moved seats and sat next to her.

A short while later, the man placed his hand against the victim's thigh and continued to touch her inappropriately.

Both the victim and the suspect got off the bus at Greenford Broadway, where he again approached the woman and harassed her.

She told him she was going to call the police and he hurried off west along Ruislip Road on the south footway.

The suspect is described as a white man with short grey hair, around 5ft 5ins tall and aged in his late thirties/early forties.

He was wearing a blue t-shirt, a grey hoody, tan chino type trousers and carrying a white JD sports bag.

Anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV image released or has any information concerning this incident is asked to call DC Matt Poore at the Roads and Transport Policing Command via 101.
