A man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH after a stabbing took place in Ealing during the early hours of Sunday morning (17 September).

The police say they went to Haven Green across the road from Ealing Broadway station after receiving reports of an altercation.

They arrived at around 5.38am and found a male who had suffered knife wounds. Two ambulances and a London’s Air Ambulance helicopter attended the scene.

He was taken to a major trauma centre by ambulance where his condition was assessed as not life changing or life threatening. Another injured person declined treatment according to a London Ambulance Service spokesperson.

A man was arrested at the scene and he remains in custody as police continue their enquiries.

A police cordon was set up in front of the row of shops which included the Robertson, Smith and Kempson estate agents and the Five Guys burger restaurant.

This latest incident comes not long after a teenage boy was stabbed in the vicinity of Ealing Broadway train station on Tuesday 29 August.
