The police have issued images of two women they would like to speak to in connection with a residential burglary that took place in Northolt.

They were called, along with London Ambulance Service, to an address in Girton Road on Monday 27 February at 1.29pm after an 81-year-old man had been found with an abdominal injury.

He was taken to hospital where his condition was found to be not life-threatening or life-changing.

Two women had entered the home and fled empty-handed through a broken window when they were confronted.

They are described as white, aged around 28 and wearing a black jacket and white, aged round 38-40 and wearing dark jacket and tight trousers.

Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact the police on 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting reference 3300/27FEB.
