A 42-year-old man has been charged in connection with a violent robbery at a shop in Feltham.

Daniel Oldcorn of Milford Road, Southall, was charged on Thursday, 7 January with robbery, grievous bodily harm and two counts of being in possession of a knife/bladed article.

The police were called at 10:15am on Wednesday, 6 January to reports of a robbery at a commercial premises at Hampton Road West, Feltham.

They found a man in his fifties at the scene who had been stabbed. His injuries were not life-threatening.

He was remanded in custody and appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates Court on Thursday, 7 January.
