The police have issued a Section 60 order covering the Greenford and Northolt areas following a shooting this Wednesday (19 November).

A nineteen-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds on Greenford Road outside Sudbury Hill Station at 6.40pm.

He was taken to a west London hospital and his wounds are believed to not be life-threatening.

It’s believed the victim was chased along the street before being shot a number of times.

No arrests have been made in connection at this stage.

Following this incident a Section 60 & 60AA CJ & PO Act ‘94 was authorised, by Inspector Styles from 1am 19 November to 4pm. Extra officers are out on patrol in the area.

This order temporarily gives the police extra powers to stop and search individuals for offensive weapons.
