A 35-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Allan Isichei his Friday (30 August).

Gurjeet Singh Lall of Ealing is accused of fatally stabbing the 69-year-old grandfather on Saturday evening (24 August) after he left the Plough Inn pub in the early evening.

Mr Isichei was walking back to his home in St. Mary’s Avenue when he was stabbed twice.

Mr Lall appeared in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court this Friday afternoon and was remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 2 September.

Homicide detectives from Specialist Crime are investigating.

The Rev Dave Bookless, the vicar of St Mary’s Church opposite the scene witnessed the ambulance driving away. He has opened a book of condolence which will be available at St Mary's Church until 1 September at the following times. These times will be updated if further volunteers offer to keep the Church open:

Saturday 31 : 2pm - 9pm

Sunday 1 September: 2pm - 6pm 

The family have requested that visitors only write positive comments and memories about Allan's life, and sympathies for the family and do not write comments about the circumstances surrounding Allan's tragic death or the suspect.
