A 31-year-old woman is in a critical condition in hospital after being hit by a car in Southall on Wednesday (25 May).

She was walking on Lady Margaret Road shortly before 12:15pm near the junction with Shackleton Road when the collision occurred.

The emergency services attended including an air ambulance and the Fire Brigade and the victim was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

Her family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers.

The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their ongoing investigation. There has been no arrest.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are investigating the circumstances. They are particularly keen to hear from any witnesses who saw the collision, or captured it on dash cam.
