A motorcyclist has been left in a critical condition after falling from his bike on Greenford Avenue, Hanwell

He has believed to have collided with a wall at around 3.10pm on Sunday (29 November) near the junction with Studland Road.

The police, London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance all attended and the rider, a 29-year-old man, was taken to a central London hospital suffering head injuries. His condition is a described as critical. His next of kin have been informed.

At this early stage it is not thought any other vehicle was involved, but officers retain an open mind and are appealing for anyone who was in the area that may has seen the rider on his journey before the collision to contact them. Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are being carried out by detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.

The motorbike was a green and white Kawasaki ZX400 and was travelling south on Greenford Avenue towards Uxbridge Road.
