Pedestrian Killed in Hanwell Traffic Accident

69-year old man dies after being hit by a moped on Greenford Avenue

A 69-year-old man has been killed after being hit by a moped on Greenford Avenue, Hanwell W7.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which took place at 9pm on Wednesday, 2 September.

The 19-year-old driver of the moped stopped at the scene and was not arrested.

The victim was taken by ambulance to hospital but died on 11 September.

Police are in the process of informing next of kin.
