Garden of Surprises! Sunday 2nd June 11:00 – 16:30

Activities all day including:

  • Follow our Chelsea Fringe Festival garden trail
  • Meet ‘James Hudson’, Victorian gardener extraordinaire in his secret potting shed
  • Paint your own flower pot in the Walled Garden
  • Healthy eating ideas from Ealing’s Health Trainers in the Kitchen Garden
  • Celebrate your community with the Big Lunch! Bring a picnic to enjoy on the lawn
  • Live folk music throughout the day

11:00 and 14:00 - Performances from the Hounslow Symphony Orchestra in the Museum

11:00 and 14:00 - Heritage Tree Walks with John Wells. Meet outside the Museum front entrance

15:00 - Talks from Vanda Foster, Curator of Gunnersbury Park Museum, on the history of gardening at Gunnersbury and Val Bott, local historian, on local nursery gardeners. Meet at the Small Mansion Terrace Room
