The Challenge Network, whose motto is To connect and inspire people to strengthen their communities will be out in force on both Saturday and Sunday in Boston Manor Park from 11 am to 3 pm.  Made up of 14-16 year olds there will be over 65 young people completing tasks set by the Friends of Boston Manor.

These tasks will include painting the railings around the pond and emptying selected flowerbeds.  As in previous years members of the public are invited to help dig the plants out and can take them home. Tools will be provided but bring your own bags.  Certainly the geraniums if looked after over the winter will survive another year; true free-cycling,

On the Sunday, at 1 p.m. the Green Flag will be raised on the lawn at the front of the house which is a reminder that Boston Manor Park is a park of excellence.
