Help Children in Care This Christmas | |||||
Ealing Police launch borough wide campaign
Police in Ealing are urging residents to support their Christmas appeal and help children in care. The campaign is being launched as part of the MPS Commissioner’s Christmas Tree gift appeal. Members of the public are being urged to give a gift by collecting a tagged ribbon from the special Christmas tree outside Ealing Police Station and then buy a Christmas gift voucher for one of the children in care in Ealing. This year's appeal builds on the success of the Met's Christmas wish list tree from last year, which saw more than 1,000 children benefit from the goodwill of Londoners. T/Chief Superintendent Paul Martin said: Ealing police's Christmas Tree appeal will be officially launched on Wednesday, 19 November at 19:00hrs where T/Chief Superintendent Paul Martin will be joined by local Police Officers and Staff to switch on the Christmas tree lights.
