One man's been killed and another is in a critical condition after a stabbing in North Acton.

Police were called at approximately 04:40hrs Sunday, 3 November, to Gorst Road, NW10.

Officers attended and found three victims, all men, suffering suspected stab wounds. One man - yet to be formally identified but is believed to be aged 33 - was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been informed.

A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.

The other men were taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.

One man aged 27 remains in a critical condition; the other has since been discharged.

An incident room has opened under Detective Chief Inspector Howard Groves of the Homicide and Major Crime Command.

It is believed the victims had attended a club in Gorst Street that evening. It had just closed for the night when the incident happened nearby.

DCI Groves said:

"We know there were a lot of people in the area at the time and we would appeal for any witnesses or anyone with information to please come forward. "We are genuinely keeping an open mind about the motive for the incident and the circumstances leading up to it and enquiries are ongoing."

Two men, aged in their 20s, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody at a south London police station at this stage. Any witnesses or anyone with any information is asked to contact the incident room on 020 8785 8081, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
