A teenager has been shot and may suffer 'life-changing' injuries after a gun attack in W3 last night.

It follows a series of firearm incidents throughout the borough.

A loaded shotgun was found in Walpole ward at 5pm yesterday and four hours later one was fired at a house in Elthorne ward.

The 16-year-old was hit in the lower leg in Acton at about 11.15pm.

The last incident took place in Cleveland ward at about 11.30pm when another home was blasted by shotgun shells.

Police are seeking any help in their investigations after what they describe as 'a very unusual number of events in a short space of time.'

They don't think the attacks are related and don't know what the motive is behind them.
