Friends of the Earth is carrying out a nationwide campaign to raise awareness of the importance of bees to our food supply, economy and quality of life.

As part of the campaign, Ealing Friends of the Earth is sponsoring a photography contest to let you show us what bees you have found in your garden, local park or field, or other public space.

The competition is open to anyone aged 13 and younger, no matter where you live.

You have until 31 August to e-mail entries, in jpeg form, to info@ealingfoe.org.uk.

The top five photos will win a prize – a jar of Ealing honey! And we’ll post the photos on the Ealing Friends of the Earth website, www.ealingfoe.org.uk/, for all to admire.
