Free international conference at Town Hall
A free conference on ways to integrate non-EU immigrants will take place in Ealing next week. Local residents are invited to join the leader of Ealing Council, Councillor Julian Bell, and keynote speakers from across Europe and the UK in discussing how the media represents and engages with non-EU immigrant communities and how to achieve better integration. The event will take place at Ealing Town Hall on e on Thursday, 22 January from midday until 9pm. Places are limited and free tickets can be reserved by going to www.eventbrite.co.uk and searching for ‘iParticipate’. The day will be broken up into three sections, and attendees are encouraged to attend the whole event or for part of the day. The day will be structured around a series of presentations and discussions with local and international speakers. In the evening, local voluntary and community groups will have the opportunity to network. The confirmed keynote speakers and panel members are: “I am delighted to welcome our guests from across Europe and London to this event.
