Police have been searching part of Elthorne Park in W7 as part of the Alice Gross investigation.

A white tent has been erected in an area of bushes in the park.

The disturbed earth was identified by the search team in the vicinty and police dogs were deployed.

After a full assessment it has been determined this area is not of relevance to the investigation into Alice's disappearance.

Police have also employed contractors using strimmers to clear vegetation from around the canal tow path near Elthorne Park.
