Ealing Central and Acton’s new MP, Angie Bray, has been promoted to the role of Parliamentary Private Secretary (PPS). She will be PPS to the Minister for the Cabinet Office, Paymaster General The Rt Hon Francis Maude MP.

Her immediate task will be to assist the Cabinet Office team with a number of Bills as they look to secure their passage through Parliament.

Upon hearing of her promotion Angie said, “I’m thrilled to have been given this exciting opportunity so early on in my career as a Member of Parliament.

"This new position is a great honour and will give me the chance to play a role in helping the Coalition Government to get vital legislation through Parliament and to ensure that MPs are able to put their views to the Minister when they need to.

"I shall of course also continue to make sure that I keep the interests of my constituents at the forefront of my work in Parliament.”
