36-year-old appearing in court today

A man's been charged in connection with with the murder of Abdulhadi Arwani - the former imam at the An Noor mosque in Acton.

Mr Arwani, who lived in W12, was found slumped at the wheel of his vehicle, on Tuesday (7th April) in Greenhill, Wembley. He had been shot.

Leslie Cooper, 36 of Nightingale Road, Brent, NW10 was charged on Tuesday, 14 April with the murder of Mr Arwani and has been remanded in custody to appear at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court at 14:00hrs this afternoon.
