Talk by Senior Ranger on 28th November
Brent River Park
Present and Future
An Illustrated Talk by Phil Belman, Senior Ranger
Monday 28th November, 8pm
Nelson Room, Ealing Town Hall
The Brent River Park is the most extensive open space in the area. The park follows the course of the River Brent from near to Hanger Lane through Pitshanger and Perivale to Hanwell where it joins the Grand Union Canal and continues down to Brentford. As well as the river, canal, towpath and locks, there are extensive public green spaces bordering the water. It is remarkable that such an area has remained unspoiled over the last century. The Brent River & Canal Society was instrumental in setting up the Brent River Park and we constantly seek to maintain, improve and promote the park.
Refreshments will be served at the start of the talk. Contact: 020 8930 4119
