Free event for parents and young children at Ealing Town Hall
Ealing will be celebrating its involvement in the Bookstart scheme with a free event for parents, children under 5 and babies on Wednesday 30th June from 10am to midday at Ealing Town Hall.
Bookstart is a national scheme offering free books to parents to introduce their babies to pictures and words. Health visitors give parents their free Bookstart pack at their child's eight month check-up.
During the morning Niri Desai, author of The Raja's Big Ears, will lead a story telling session for under 5s, from 10.30 - 11.30 and there will be a Baby Rhyme Time session for children under a year old.
The Mayor Councillor Ian Potts will be joining representatives from the Primary Health Care Trust and Ealing Early Years Development & Childcare Partnership throughout the event.
