Macmillan's Cancer Information Bus comes to Ealing

People in Ealing can get free information and support from trained information professionals on any aspect of living with cancer, thanks to Macmillan Cancer Relief's Mobile Cancer Information Centre which is visiting Ealing this week The centre will be outside the Town Hall from from 10am – 4pm all week from Monday to Friday (18/10 – 22/10)..

"Its often hard to know where to turn to find information about cancer, so I am delighted that the mobile information unit is here in Ealing this week" says Rachel Farquarson, Macmillan Cancer Relief's Head of Service Development for the region. "No appointment is needed and we have trained professionals available who can offer information and support." "We will have information onboard about all aspects of cancer, so anyone who has any worries or concerns can drop by and pick up a leaflet or have a chat. We also want to offer support to friends and relatives of people with cancer, so welcome carers and friends to come to see us too."

If you are unable to visit the Centre and would like cancer information or support, please call the Macmillan CancerLine on freephone 0808 808 2020 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm), textphone 0808 808 0121, email cancerline@macmillan.org.uk or via www.macmillan.org.uk.
