Consultation on Policing Priorities 2007/8
Ealing Police are keen to consult with community and partners on the policing priorities for their next years policing plan 2007/08.
To meet the national targets, Ealing Borough Police will be focusing on reducing crime within the following crime types during 07/08:
Personal Robbery
Theft from person (Snatch and pick pocketing)
Theft of Pedal cycles
Residential Burglary
Theft of motor vehicles
Theft from motor vehicles
Interference and tampering with motor vehicles
Criminal damage
Wounding to persons
Common assault to persons
The borough will also be concentrating on bringing more offenders to justice for the crimes that they commit within on our local area.
Local issues will continue to be addressed through the Ward Panels on all 23 Safer Neighbourhood Teams across the borough, which have had a real impact over the previous 12 months. We will also be concentrating on drugs and anti social behaviour within our local communities.
This is an opportunity for everyone to influence policing within Ealing Borough. I would ask you all to consider if there are other priorities that you feel that your local police should be focusing on in the year ahead. Any suggestions that you do have can be forwarded in writing by 31st January 2007 to Inspector Cliff Law at Ealing Police Station, 67-69 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, W5 5SJ. We really appreciate any contribution that you do want to make.
In line with the MPS Priorities and the National priorities, the Strategic Priorities for Ealing Borough will be:
Counter Terrorism and Security |
Safer Neighbourhoods
|
Organised Criminal Networks |
**Citizen Focus
|
Together |
Information Quality
|
Capital City Policing |
|
** Citizen focus means listening to and responding to the needs of our local communities and making our services more accessible.
