And recycling - don't forget
Residents are reminded that because of the Bank Holiday, refuse and recycling collection times will be a day later than normal.
The changes affect the period from Monday, 25 August to Saturday, 30 August.
The changes will be as follows:
Usual collection day Revised day
Monday, 25 August Tuesday, 26 August
Tuesday, 26 August Wednesday, 27 August
Wednesday, 27 August Thursday, 28 August
Thursday, 28 August Friday, 29 August
Friday, 29 August Saturday, 30 August
Saturday collections are not affected.
Residents should leave refuse and recycling in clear sight within the front boundary of their property, not on the pavement, by 7am on their collection day.
Ealing Council says that: "Ensuring refuse and recycling is collected over the holiday period is part of the Council’s cleaner streets priority".
No doubt ECT's performance will be commented on in the various local fora next week.
