Arcadia Returns a New Leaf

But will the latest design be a grower?

The Arcadia planning application consultation deadline has now been extended until Friday, 5 December, to allow people to look at revised plans for the scheme’s tallest building and submit any additional comments.

The Council’s Planning Committee will meet on 17 December to consider Glenkerrin’s plans for the site, including the latest changes to the exterior of the tall building.

The modification to the plans for the tall building were submitted after consultation letters were sent out to 62,000 homes.  The size, scale and location of the building remain the same.

The revised design, which is now 26 storeys compared to an original 40 storeys, boasts curving balconies with recessed glazing behind and double-height penthouses at the pinnacle.

Proposals for the scheme, including revised drawings and amendments to the Environmental Statement continue to be available at the Customer Services Reception at Perceval House or by visiting the planning pages on the Council's website at www.ealing.gov.uk
