Ealing Borough Residents Urged to Complete Survey
Residents of Ealing Borough have the chance to speak out about crime and safety in their area by filling in a pilot survey on the council's website.
The survey aims to help the police and council understand the concerns of residents, and the findings will feed into crime strategies for the borough. It has been developed as a pilot study to form part of a larger project by the West London Alliance (WLA), and the results will feed into a crime and disorder report for the whole area.
With funding from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, the WLA is hoping develop a consistent approach to online consultation across the six boroughs, allowing residents to give their opinions and feedback on important issues.
Councillor Shital Manro is keen for residents to participate:
"I would urge all residents to participate in this survey, to make sure that their thoughts and ideas about crime are heard. The results of the survey will feed into strategies that affect everyone in the borough, and help to make Ealing a safer place to live and work."
