Arrest in Naked Intruder Case

After police issue e-fit of unwelcome house guest

A 40 year old unemployed man has been arrested in connection with a case of indecent exposure.

The arrest took place on 14th September just after the publication of an 'e-fit' description of a suspect on this site.

The original offence took place on Oxford Road in Ealing earlier this year when a 30 year old woman found a naked intruder in her bedroom. He had entered her home through patio style doors which she had left open during a hot spell.

She screamed and demanded the suspect left her home. He slowly moved backwards and walked out of the open patio doors. He then bent down picked his clothes up from the ground outside the patio doors got dressed and walked off.

Detective Constable Sam O’ Callaghan, Ealing Borough Police said, "This was a very frightening couple of minutes for the victim. We must stress that this type of incident is very rare in Ealing Borough. However we are treating this incident very seriously and are anxious to trace the offender."

The man arrested has not been charged and police are continuing their investigations.
